Interested in learning the art and the craft of conducting?
I offer introductory conducting lessons for musicians just starting out. I also offer coaching for more experienced conductors looking for feedback on their work.
Whether you’re learning from scratch or interested in coaching, I focus on the following areas:
- Score Study: Increase your proficiency with score reading and music theory, and practice transferring your knowledge of the score into enhanced results on the podium.
- Baton Technique: Refine what you do with your hands to conduct with intention and precision.
- Self-literacy: Dig into why you do what you do. Learn about why you enjoy being a conductor or why you feel drawn to this field.
Location
In-person: My studio holds in-person lessons and meetings in Ocala, FL.
Online: Lessons and coaching sessions for conducting students are also available through video calls.
Tuition
30-minute lesson: $37.50/lesson
60-minute lesson: $50.00/lesson
